HOW ROMANTIC ARE YOU?

BY INA ELISKA, September 30, 2026

We all have a different idea of what it means to dress romantically. For some, there can never be enough lace, silk or ruffles. For others, it’s a flash of skin, something delicate hidden under a blazer, or perhaps no romance at all. So, where do you fall? Meet the four women below and see which wardrobe feels most like yours.

The Hopeless Romantic

She has never understood the appeal of playing it cool. She likes beautiful things and isn’t afraid of a little fantasy. Lace, ruffles, silk, pale pink and anything that moves when she walks will always find a place in her wardrobe. She dresses for dinner even when dinner isn’t particularly important, buys flowers for herself and still believes there are occasions worth overdressing for.

The Natural Flirt

For her, getting dressed is part of the fun. She likes a little skin, something sheer, a flash of lingerie where you weren’t expecting it. A slip skirt with almost nothing on top, tiny shorts under an oversized coat, a blouse left one button further undone. She knows exactly what she’s doing, but would never admit to trying too hard.

The Secret Romantic

You might not notice it immediately. Her wardrobe leans toward tailoring, darker colors and pieces that could almost be described as practical. Then you look closer: lace beneath the blazer, a silk camisole with jeans, something delicate peeking out from an otherwise serious outfit. She likes romance, she just prefers to keep it slightly hidden.

The Nonchalant One

Romance isn't really part of the equation when she gets dressed. She wants a great jacket, trousers that fall exactly right, an oversized coat, an unexpected color. If something feminine makes its way in, it’s usually by accident—or because the contrast makes everything else look better. She’d rather look interesting than pretty, and would be mildly horrified if anyone thought she spent too long deciding what to wear.
